Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi mezunu Dr Işıl Akgün Demir, plastik cerrahi eğitimine Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde devam etmiştir. Kariyerine meme ve vücut şekillendirme alanında kendi kliniğinde devam eden Dr. Akgün Demir dolgu, botoks ve mezoterapi uygulamaları da yapmaktadır. Kendisi aynı zamanda Türk Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği (TPRECD), Estetik Plastik Cerrahi Derneği (EPCD), Avrupa Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Kurulu (EBOPRAS) ve Uluslararası Estetik Plastik Cerrahi Derneği (ISAPS) üyesidir. Klinik çalışmalarını İstanbul’da yürüten Dr. Akgün Demir evli ve iki çocuk annesidir.
